Below is the period of studies depending on the degree type.
♣ Master’s Degree: 1-2 Years.
♣ Doctoral Scholarships: 4 Years.
Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must fulfill ALL the requirements listed below:
• Applicant must NOT Be a citizen of The People’s Republic of China. Citizens of other countries are free to apply.
• Applicant should be in good state of health.
• Applicant should be a bachelor’s degree holder already
• Applicant must be under the age of 35 when applying for master’s programs; or
• Applicant must be a master’s degree holder under the age of 40 when applying for doctoral programs.

How to Apply to Apply for the Chinese Government Scholarship; Huazong University of Science and Technology(HUST), China:
Below is a step by step instructions detailing a start-to-finish guide on how to apply for this scholarship.
Step 1.  All applicants should proceed to the official Chinese Scholarship council website which is the Online Application System for International Students at: http://www.csc.edu.cn/studyinchinaand complete all the online details. Submit it online and click “print the application form” for the next step.
NOTE: The Program Category is B and the Agency No. is 10487.
Step 2. Also, proceed to Complete the online application procedure in HUST at http://admission.hust.edu.cn, select the “I am applying for scholarship at HUST”
Step 3: Upload The Following required Documents
 1. Highest diploma (Which should be your bachelor degree certificate)
 2. Academic transcripts. Transcript should be original scanned copy.
3. A Study Plan or Research Proposal (Written in either Chinese or English)
4. Two Recommendation Letters signed by professor/associate professor (Also written in either Chinese or English)
5. An official international Passport or National ID.
6. If any, please upload your Valid Language Proficiency Certificate.
7. If any, upload an Acceptance Letter from the professor//associate professor of HUST.
8. For applicants currently outside China, a Physical Examination Form should be uploaded too.
