How To Download and Install Skyrim Script Extender SE
There are going to be three different versions of the Skyrim script extender that you see on this same page, because the classic version, the C version, and the VR version are all on the same page.
On the website, you will see at least four to five versions of the Skyrim script extender. But we’re going to be installing the current special edition build 2.0.20 (game version 1.5.97).
Here are the steps to download and install Skyrim Script Extender.
1 Go to https://skse.silverlock.org/.
2. Click “Download 7z File” in Current Special Edition build 2.0.20 (game version 1.5.97).
3. Extract the 7z file to a separate folder.
4. Open Steam and locate “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition.“
5. Click on “Local File Tab“
6. Browse “Local files”

Open https://skse.silverlock.org in your browser and locate the SE build.Â
On the page, you’re going to see about five different versions of Skyrim Script Extender
2. Click “Download 7z File” in Current Special Edition build 2.0.20 (game version 1.5.97).
Now, on the skse page, you’ll see the Current Special Edition build 2.0.20 (game version 1.5.97), which is the version you’ll download.
Hover your mouse over “Download 7z File” and click to download and save to your computer.
3. Extract the 7z file to a separate folder.
Locate the 7z file that you downloaded and saved in step two on your computer.
Once you locate the file, right-click on it to extract the file using the 7-Zip extractor. Now, select Extract file with 7z from the drop-down menu.
The file will be extracted and saved in a separate folder on your computer.
4. Open Steam and locate “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition.“
Now, on a separate browser, log into your Steam account and locate “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition” on the Steam library in the right-hand corner of the page.
Right-click on it for a drop-down menu. Now scroll down and go to properties, and click on it.
5. Click on “Local File Tab“
After clicking on properties in the previous step, you will be redirected to a local file tab.
Click on the “local file” tab on the top header of the Steam page.
When you click on the local file, a dropdown menu will pop out.
6. Browse “Local Files”
Now, select Browse Files from the drop-down menu to be taken directly to the Skyrim Special Edition directory.
In the directory, you’ll see “skyrimSELauncher.exc.” Click to launch it.
As you launch it, the SCSI 64 and the Skyrim special edition directories will be opened, and all you want to do is highlight all the SCSI 64 files and drag them over to the Skyrim C directory
If it asks you whether to overwrite anything, just go ahead and click yes, and the SCSI 64 will be installed.
